We had some great conservatives running for office in 2023 and 2024, but they were defeated because of the lack of voter turnout by most conservatives in the primaries. With a 15 percent turnout, the establishment wins 96 percent of the time. There is no fairness in politics, with no Mr. Smith(for some younger people, they will have to research the movie) going to Washington. That, my friends, is all lies.

If you run for any statewide office, not being part of the elected team, you are alone; the help you get is on the end of your arm or brain. The idea of wanting new people to challenge and hopefully bring change to the state or federal government is false. Congressman Guest proved this by almost losing his primary election, only to have the state GOP and the DC crowd pump more money into the state than any typical opponent could ever raise.

Let’s look at the race between my brother Carl Boyanton and Congressman Ezell, a first-year congressman who voted to deny the pilots their livelihood. (the ones who refused to vaccinate). He campaigned with six other challengers who agreed not to back Congressman McCarthy as the speaker, and he voted for him each time. He voted to increase the debt ceiling and the debt. Guess who came to dinner for Ezell? All of Washington DC, almost all elected officials on the coast, including the second in command of the republican house from Louisiana, and even the big guy, Trump, backed this first-year congressman with the prodding of Speaker of the House Johnson. Politicians in power want weak men, and they deliver by being a vote in the pocket.

We are a nation on a runaway train, and no one knows what will happen when we get to the last stop. When you think about it, the world will fail if we as a nation fail. The leaders we elect are genuinely world leaders. If they cause the country to falter, the world will tremble.

What would failure look like? One hundred trillion debt is what most say is the complete failure amount. In the last 40 years, we have gone from less than a trillion to 34 trillion, snowballing each year. Hyperinflation is likely our greatest enemy, and the insane price increase we are witnessing now will be seen as minuscule in the future.

“American Conservatism has no party; it takes its time to move left or right; it has an economic sense of direction with a moral compass to guide; it is based on the principle of normality of a man and a woman, along with the family structure, with the it’s religion to give purpose.” rwb
