FATHERS DAY, FOR MY DEAD HEROES,

My thoughts are for the fathers I helped carry off the battlegrounds in 67-68 in faraway Vietnam. It truly has no meaning to most; it was 54 or so years ago. When I listen to men in power rattling their sabers for war, I wonder who sons and daughters will be sacrificed in the coming days, weeks, or years. Most of us believed we were fighting to keep communism, liberalism, and socialism from our shores. (?)

When you look into your son’s and daughter’s eyes as you stay home and allow others to vote for men to lead the nation, without your two bits of flesh, you are hoping and granting the future of your kids and grandkids to GOD only knows what types of people.

“We have witnessed in the last four years an untold amount of spending, an untold amount of illegal immigration, and over a trillion dollars spent not on protecting the border but opening it up to the savages of felons, terrorists, and gangs; the future will pay a heavy price for the last four years.”

“Having a kid is like falling in love for the first time when you’re 12, but every single day.”
