      SOUTHERN PRIDE!!

My beloved South with heroes who fought as hard as did the men in the Revolutionary War fighting for their freedoms. Men from both wars fought for what they believed; the difference was that the colonies won their (war), but not my beloved South. The English called men fighting the Crown (colonists)rebels and traitors; does that sound familiar? We must remember that slavery was in full swing at the beginning of each war and didn’t end in the North in some border states for a few years after the war between the states. Slavery had always been part of the nation, and we must remember it was “LEGAL” both before the Revolutionary War and the war between the states. If you think the war started by the South was mainly because of slavery, you would be wrong; South Carolina already was following the law of the USA on slavery issues, and ownership of enslaved people was completely legal as it was before the Revolutionary War and before the war between the states. The South, with enslaved people, was worth more than the North with manufacturing. This is not to say slavery was not an evil enterprise, but that at the time, it was legal across the globe. This is not to mention every enslaved person was sold by black person to start the trade.

      WHAT HAS GONE WRONG,

We first begin the fall with the loss of morals; most folks have no idea that you cannot use cuss words over the radio or television until the last thirty-odd years ago. Not one person believed there were more then two genders. Men in women sports the women would have removed. Homosexuality was frowned upon and not accepted in society, even though most people made no issue of it until it was brought front and center for all. Go to church on Sunday was. It was a dress-up day, and all had to look their Sunday best. Sailors or criminals wore tattoos. Very few ordinary people had tattoos. Guns in pick-up trucks on all the high school grounds, and no one killed anyone; how strange a gun didn’t take the opportunity to show its power. The heroes of World War II were numerous and truly loved America. Women were more admirable, and I believed the love of family structure was strong.

“ Remember “hope” didn’t work, this anything goes society will fail, when the future of our children are economically being squandered, with fear to stand for something you most certainly will fall for anything. ““GOD BLESS”
